Train stabbing suspect claims mind control in jail call after Charlotte light rail killing
A jailhouse call captured Charlotte train stabbing suspect Decarlos Brown saying he didn’t know the woman he’s accused of killing and claiming “materials” in his brain controlled him. The August 28 call came six days after the attack that killed 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska. Brown, 34, faces state murder and federal charges, with a court date set for September 19.
